Why does my account show a negative balance in my High Yield Checking account when I have funds in my account?

Your High Yield Checking account may have a negative available balance due to pending transactions on the account.

Pending debit card transactions or ACH transfers initiated from your Liquid Treasuries account to an external account that are submitted after 3:45 PM Eastern Time on business days, result in holds placed on the account causing the available balance to be negative.

Pending debit card transactions will settle within 2-3 business days at which time a sale of treasuries occurs and the hold is removed from your account.

ACH transfers initiated from within your Liquid Treasuries account to an external account that are submitted after 3:45 PM Eastern Time on business days are processed the following business day at which time they are posted to your account and a corresponding sale of treasuries occurs.
Sales of treasuries in your Liquid Treasuries account are not conducted until the transaction has posted to your checking account.
