How can I close my account?

I want to close my account. What actions do I need to take?

To close your account, you will need to ensure funds are withdrawn and the account is locked to prevent future use.

  • Lock your Evergreen VisaⓇ debit card by logging in, select “Account Info” 
  • Under “Debit Card,” select the toggle switch next to “Lock Card”
  • Ensure the toggle switch turns green
  • Redirect any direct deposits, subscriptions, and/or any bills to a different account, if you have any set up
  • Withdraw all funds from your Evergreen Money account and ensure your balance is zero
  • Verify there are no pending transactions on your Evergreen account.

 

My account is at zero and everything has been completed, how do I complete account closure?
